Hunter founded the The Eastman Egg Company as a food truck in 2013 with the belief that great food can redefine your day. He aspires to change the way you think about mornings by giving breakfast the same attention as a fine-dining dinner experience. He graduated from Yale with a degree in Economics and then spent 5 years at Goldman Sachs where he invested in growth and early-stage technology businesses. This experience with technology platforms has led him to become a leader in driving the food industry into the future with advanced technological solutions.
Damon is our Director of Operations. He started his career at Lettuce Entertain You's FoodLife, then navigated to AVI Food Systems, where he converted the dining program at Kenyon College to completely farm to table. At home in the suburbs he makes his own charcuterie and tends to his vegetable garden.
Dan is our Director of Finance. As a foodie with an appreciation for numbers, he came to Eastman after starting his career in public accounting at PWC. He is always cooking up something amazing at home or checking out music and food events around the city.
Laurel is our Chief of Staff. She primarily product manages our iPhone application and oversees marketing initiatives. She has an economics degree from the University of Chicago and started her career here at Eastman. In her down time, you'll find her taking ballet classes or experimenting with cake recipes.
Chante is the Assistant General Manager at our Ogilvie location. She came to Eastman from the world of retail management, making a leap to the food industry. She is currently studying Business Management at Harold Washington University and raising an adorable young daughter.
Stella is the Assistant General Manager at our Randolph location. She is a graduate of Johnson and Wales Pastry Program, and the mastermind behind all of our fresh baked-goods recipes!
Tara is General Manager of our Wacker location. She came to us after nine years of management experience at Starbucks. She is an avid Bears fan, and will jump on any opportunity to travel!
Leslie “Queen” is a line cook at our Ogilvie location. She’s been with Eastman since its start! Before Eastman, she was the head bread baker at Wild & Green Natural Market. This summer she hopes to master the art of French pastry making.
Nas is a Front of House specialist at our Ogilvie location. When she isn’t on SnapChat, she’s either studying towards her chemistry degree or hanging with friends.
Taya is a jack of all trades at our Randolph location. She likes to stay busy is always doing something. In her downtime enjoys dancing, or cooking herself a delicious meal.
Joy rocks as the Catering Ace at our Ogilvie Location. She majored in Journalism, Radio Broadcasting, while in college and dreams of one day becoming a sports caster. She loves running and keeping up with the latest in college football.
Larry is on the grill at our Randolph location. After work, he often volunteers to take care of toddlers at his sister’s daycare. He’s lived all over the world and hopes to someday plant roots in New Orleans or California!
Sophia is the main grill-gal at our Wacker location. She is an Air Force veteran, and holds a degree in nursing. That means your order is always safe in Sophia’s hands!
Hayro is a supervisor at our Wacker store. He’s a hopeless romantic with a love for time travel, and the smell of rain. Topping Hayro’s bucket list is to visit Iceland, in hopes of one day seeing the Northern Lights.
Antoinette is front and center of our Wacker location. She has a passion for fashion and make up artistry. Her favorite breakfast food is Cinnamon Toast Crunch with extra, extra, milk.
Allison is the manager of our Trunk Club store. Allison loves to play rugby, and takes classes practicing with aerial hoops. She’s a veteran of our Wacker location from when it first opened!
Kyle is barista extraordinaire at Trunk Club. His passion is dramatic acting, but when not on stage, he loves referencing nostalgic stand-up comedy shows, like Jim Carrey’s impression of “The Juice Man”.
